ALLAH sent prophets and messengers all over the world at different time periods, particularly when evil envelopes good completely. The Prophethood has been completed and finalized with the last Messenger Muhammad ï·º(s.aw.) 1429 years ago. Now the responsibility to convey the Message of God [and His Prophet Muhammad ï·º (peace be upon him] transfers to Ummah (the party, community, group) of Muhammad ï·º(peace be upon him) till Qiyamah (Doomsday). (Towards Understanding Quran)

All the prophets brought one message that Allah is One, there is no partnership with Allah, there is no relationship, no son or daughter of Allah; Sovereignty belongs to Him; He is the Ruler of earth and heavens, He is the Sustainer, Owner of the Universe and the Day of Judgement. Allah alone should be worshiped, and He should be obeyed in all spheres of life –private and public, individual and social, spiritual and political, domestic and foreign affairs, family and court, jobs and businesses, and marriage and culture, etc. This is the message we say in Quranic terminology: belief in Tauheed.

(Quran: 21:25) Never did We send any Messenger before you to whom We did not reveal: "There is no god but Me. So serve Me alone."

(Quran: 112) Say: “He is Allah, the One and Unique; Allah, Who is in need of none and of Whom all are in need; He neither begot any nor was He begotten, and none is comparable to Him.”

(Quran: 67:1) Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion of the Universe, and Who has power over everything.

(Quran 7:65) And to 'Ad We sent forth their brother Hud. He said: '0 my people! Serve Allah; you have no other god (Ilah ; الٰہ)than Him. Will you, then, not avoid evil?'

The other Message that the Messengers brought is about the Doomsday (end of the world), the Day of Judgement, and an eternal Life after Death. The people who will obey and worship Allah will go to Al-Jannah (the paradise) and People who will deny and disobedient will go to Jahannum (the hell). This is the message we say in Quranic terminology: belief in Akhirah.

(Quran 2:123) And beware of the Day when no one shall avail another, when ransom shall be accepted from no one, when no one’s intercession will profit anyone, when there shall be no help from any quarter.

(Quran 21:47) We shall set up just scales on the Day of Resurrection so that none will be wronged in the least. (We shall bring forth the acts of everyone), even if it be the weight of a grain of mustard seed. We shall suffice as Reckoners.

The third Message that the Messengers brought is following his leadership, Prophet’s leadership. This is the message we say in Quranic terminology: belief in Risalah. We followers of Deen of Allah and His Messenger believe Muhammad ï·º as our Leader (religious, spiritual, social and political) till Qiyamah. He is the Leader, we follow, and we have to follow to be a real Muslim.

(Quran 33:45-46) O Prophet, We have sent you forth as a witness, a bearer of good tidings, and a warner, as one who calls people to Allah by His leave, and as a bright, shining lamp.

(Quran 7:157) [Today this mercy is for] those who follow the ummi Prophet, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel with them. He enjoins upon them what is good and forbids them what is evil. He makes the clean things lawful to them and prohibits all corrupt things, and removes from them their burdens and the shackles that were upon them. So those who believe in him and assist him, and succor him and follow the Light which has been sent down with him, it is they who shall prosper.

Tauheed, Akhirah, and Risalah are three fundamental beliefs to which every Muslim must adhere. If he or she denies any one of the fundamentals or distort any of the fundamentals, he or she is not a Muslim. Being born into a Muslim family doesn’t qualify a person to be Muslim or Muslimah. (Towards Understanding Quran)

The above mentioned three key beliefs are the umbrella to protect from the evils and to help us revolt against the evils.

Second most important fact is that every prophet/messenger of Allah also addressed the key evils of the society in which they advent. Musa علیہ اسلام (Moses) addressed the issue of slavery and asked Pharaoh to release (liberate) Bani Israel (son of Israel). Musa’s movement was a religious, social, and political movement of liberation. He asked Pharaoh of Egypt and the people to accept the Kingship of Allah (the creator) and to free themselves from all His creatures (false gods; false rulers who don’t rule according to the commands of God and His Messenger). Finally, Musa liberated his nation from the social and political slavery of Pharaoh.

The nation of Prophet Shuaib علیہ اسلام  (Jethro) (peace be upon him) was indulged in cheating in business. They were unbalancing the measures. Shuaib علیہ اسلام addressed this evil and asked his people as Quran mentions:

(Quran 11:85) O My people! Give full measure and weight with justice, do not diminish the goods of others, and do not go about creating corruption in the land.

The nation of Lot was indulged in homosexuality or same-sex relationships. He addressed it and tried his best to stop them.

(Quran 21:74) “We bestowed upon Lot sound judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the city that was immersed in foul deeds. They were indeed a wicked people, exceedingly disobedient.”

His nation refused his orders and warnings. Allah’s decree was to destroy the nation (except Lot and his active supporters). Allah send some angels in beautiful human faces to Lot’s home to convey a most important breaking news. Al-Quran described the scenes what really happened:

(Quran 11:77-82) “And when Our messengers (angels) came to Lot, he was perturbed by their coming and felt troubled on their account, and said: 'This is a distressing day. And his people came to him rushing. Before this they were wont to commit evil deeds. Lot said: 'My people! Here are my daughters (of the nation to marry); they are purer for you. Have fear of Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not even one right-minded person in your midst? They said: 'Surely you already know that we have nothing to do with your daughters. You also know well what we want. He said: 'Would that I had the strength to set you straight, or could seek refuge in some powerful support. Thereupon the angels said: 'O Lot! We indeed are messengers of your Lord. And your people will in no way be able to hurt you. So depart with your family in a part of the night and let no one of you turn around excepting your wife (who shall not go); for what will befall them shall also befall her. In the morning their promised hour will come. Is not the morning near? And when Our command came to pass, We turned the town upside down, and rained on it stones of baked clay, one on another.”

It should be noted that in all cases when God decided to destroy and ruin the nation (when they denied the warners, prophets), only Prophet and his active followers were saved and protected. All others, including silent spectators, were destroyed. (Please note that it is misconception that just praying dua and wadhaif only and not being actively involved against the evils will protect us.)

All the Prophets of Allah accomplished following tasks;

1. Witness the Truth (شہادۃ الحق)

(Quran: 2:143) And it is thus that We appointed you to be the Ummah (the community) of the middle way so that you might be witnesses to all mankind and the Messenger might be a witness to you.

1. Enjoin (order) what is right and forbid what is wrong (امر بالمعروف و نہی عنی المنکر)

(Quran 3:110) You are now the best people brought forth for (the guidance and reform of) mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. Some of them are believers, but most of them are transgressors.

1. Establishment of Deen of Allah (اقیموالدین)

(Quran 42:13) He has prescribed for you the DEEN (religion, the way and system of life) which He enjoined upon Noah and which We revealed to you (O Muhammad ï·º), and which We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus, commanding: “Establish this deen and do not split up regarding it.” What you are calling to is very hard upon those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. Allah chooses for Himself whomsoever He pleases and guides to Himself whoever penitently turns to Him.”

(Quran 57:25) “Indeed We sent Our Messengers with Clear Signs, and sent down with them the Book and the Balance that people may uphold justice. And We sent down iron (the power and might), wherein there is awesome power and many benefits for people, so that Allah may know who, without even having seen Him, helps Him and His Messengers. Surely Allah is Most Strong, Most Mighty.

These three are mandated tasks given by Allah. We will only be protected when we help Allah by starting this Islamic movement here now. In North American society, we have to start the same way as Prophet Muhammad ï·º(peace be upon him) started in Makkah. It must be a peaceful resistant movement. We have to keep patience, have no revenge, even in extreme circumstances. We may face the hardships as faced by the Prophet ï·º  and his companions Ø“. But we must remember protecting ourselves and our families from hell and be hopeful of Al-Jannah is not easy, and it was never easy.

Only those nations of the prophets who had successfully established Deen of Allah at the state level were saved otherwise all were destroyed (except the prophets and their active supporters).

All the individuals, Imams, Muslim leaders, Masajid, Islamic Organizations should prepare and perform this duty. Imams should deliver Khutba (sermons) on these topics, Masajid and Islamic groups and organization should prepare themselves to outreach the leaders and people, convey the message, witness the truth, enjoin what is good, forbid what is evil to achieve the final goal; establishment of Deen of Allah, Kingdom of God as it is already established in the universe.

This is voice of our conscience and faith. We must speak out. This is our fundamental right of freedom. Canadian Charter of Right and Freedoms and US Constitution's First Amendment guarantee this fundamental freedom, freedom of conscience and religion. 

Offense is the best defense. Protecting all humanity who are falling into hellfire and protecting all families and children will guarantee our families' and children's protection here in this world and hereafter. Be ready to stop gender genocide now.
