Why Should We Vote?

Why Should We Vote?

Jawed Anwar

Why should we vote for those who support genocide in Palestine and the Middle East?
Why should we vote for those who support and/or finance the terrorist state of Israel?
Why should we vote for those who mock the oppressed people of Palestine?
Why should we vote for those who promote the genocidal lifestyle of sexual disorientation and gender confusion?
Why should we vote for those who have destroyed the family system and values, promoting and establishing a Fahish culture upon us and our children?
Why should we vote for those who have changed, established, and supported Fahish education in public schools and Fahish values in society?

Is there any party or candidate in the upcoming Ontario Provincial Assembly Election or Canadian Federal Election who stands openly with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemns Israeli genocide?
Is there any party or candidate who believes in the God-given two genders: male and female?
Is there any party or candidate who believes that relationships are only possible between a man and a woman?
Is there any party or candidate who believes that relationships must exist only within the contract of marriage?

So far, we do not find any winnable party—Conservative, Liberal, NDP, or Green—that aligns with our concerns. If you believe that any Muslim candidate from these parties will stand for our religious values, you are fooling yourself. They will follow their party line, not your concerns.

Look beyond these four major parties. If you find a candidate who aligns with your global and social concerns, vote for them—even if they have no or little chance of winning. Ensure they have openly stood with you on all these issues, not just in private conversations at your home, dining table, coffee shop, or on phone.

If you do not find anyone, do not vote for anyone and spoil your vote.

Ontario Provincial Election

Ontario allows voters to decline their ballot. This is a legal way to formally refuse to vote for any candidate while still participating in the election process. When a voter declines their ballot, election officials record it as a "declined ballot," and it is counted separately from spoiled or rejected ballots.

Canada Federal Election

If a voter does not wish to vote for any candidate, they may:

  • Submit a blank ballot (which will be counted as a rejected ballot).
  • Spoil their ballot (e.g., marking multiple choices or writing something else).

Write on the Ballot Paper:

"No one matches our expectations."
