It was either the first or second day of the new session at Ontario Public Schools. A class teacher in the Peel District School Board distributed a gender introduction form.
The gender identification previously registered by parents in public schools, based on biological gender, is no longer considered valid. Now, every student is required to redefine and "reassess" their own gender.
The gender introduction form was distributed among students with strict instructions that no images or videos be taken. However, one smart student discreetly pocketed the form and took it home. Their parent then informed us and shared an image of the introduction form.

The form begins with a greeting: "Hello! My name is……" It is then divided into two sections: "In Class" and "At Home." The left-hand box requests information for when the student is in class, including:
Name you want me to use
Pronouns you want me to use (they/them, he/him, she, other)
Can I use these pronouns in front of the class and with other teachers/adults?
Do you want me to follow up with you privately about the use of pronouns or names? (Yes, No)
The right-side box pertains to the student's gender identity at home and includes:
Name you want me to use
Pronouns you want me to use (they/them, he/him, she, other)
Who should I speak with first?
Anything else I should know when I reach out to home?
Another parent, whose child attends a high school in the Peel School District Board, informed us that their child's teacher mentioned there would be a class on gender identity theory in the coming week.
After sharing these instances, several parents have asked which school or board is involved. It's important to note that these policies are not exclusive to any particular school or board. The Ministry of Education, Ontario, sets the policies for all Ontario Public and Catholic schools, and the boards and schools are obligated to implement them. Non-compliance is considered "illegal."
Children often feel hesitant to discuss "sensitive issues" from school with their parents, fearing that their parents may withdraw them from public schools once they are informed of what's happening.
We have repeatedly advised against sending children to public schools and encouraged pursuing alternative education paths. However, if worldly and materialistic concerns are of utmost importance to you, our advice may go unheard.
An appeal has been made for a school walkout on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, coinciding with the million-person march. Teacher unions have announced plans to counter-protest the rally. Consider what to expect from these proactive teachers who support the LGBTQ+ community. How might they influence your children?

We recommend participating in the school walkout on that day. We also suggest considering a longer-term approach by walking out of schools for at least one year. When teachers face unemployment and schools struggle due to a shortage of students, they might start to listen to your concerns.
Focus your efforts on one clear agenda: "Remove Sex and Gender Education from the School System." Advocate for the cessation of sex and gender education and celebrations in public schools. Public schools should primarily focus on teaching language, math, and science, while parents and religious counselors from all faiths can address this subject in line with their beliefs.
Join the One Million March for Children at your City Hall or Legislative Assembly buildings (for Capital Cities) with your family and children at 9 am on Wednesday, September 20. If there's no arrangement in your city, please check the closest city to your location. Also, look into available bus arrangements from various locations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Let's make 1 Million March for Children a resounding success. Dedicate a day to the cause.
