Liberal’s Pharmacare Plan: Helping to Kill Babies Before Birth

THE Federal Liberal government has introduced a bill in parliament for Pharmacare legislation, fulfilling a key commitment to the NDP to garner support for the Liberal minority government. However, a significant aspect of pharmacare will be directed towards birth control and population management, and killing babies before birth.
The government intends to negotiate nationwide agreements to offer contraceptives, providing access to a range of options for over 9 million people of reproductive age. These options include oral contraceptives, copper and hormonal IUDs, injections, implants, rings, and morning-after pills.
In a country where the current fertility rate is 1.483 births per woman, supporting measures to reduce to fertility and birth rates can be viewed as highly consequential. It's important to note that to merely maintain a nation's population, a minimum annual birth rate of 2.1% is required. Canada may increasingly rely on new immigrants to support its aging population.
"Our Liberal team is delivering National Universal Pharmacare, which will make essential medications more affordable for Canadians. The Liberal Pharmacare plan will benefit 9 million Canadians by providing free contraceptives and granting access to diabetes medication for 3.7 million Canadians," announced the Liberal Party of Canada.
When questioned by reporters, Health Minister Mark Holland declined to provide a precise cost estimate. However, he indicated a ballpark figure that could range from below to above $1.5 billion.
It is regrettable that taxpayers' money will fund initiatives that involve aspects of gender, sexuality, bodily autonomy, and it caters to those who prioritize their desires.
Pharmacare should primarily target those suffering from genuine illnesses rather than catering to personal preferences.
